A7TV was launched in 2017 as a lifestyle TV channel that broadcasts exclusively online. It became a generalist channel with nationwide coverage that was included on the must-carry list in 2021. Vision Broadcast, the company that runs the channel, is owned by Marius Creta, general manager of the Brasov-based real estate developer Maurer Imobiliare.
