Radio Color is based in Orastie and broadcasts news and entertainment programs covering Hunedoara county. It started to broadcast in 1996. The radio station’s owner is majority controlled by Ovidiu Vlad, the secretary general of the Hunedoara office of the National Liberal Party (PNL), general director of Uzina Mecanica Orastie and also the main shareholder of a building construction company based in the Hunedoara county.
