Journalists Dan Tapalaga and Cristian Pantazi left Hotnews.ro and launched the news and investigations platform G4Media.ro in March 2018. At the beginning, the website was operated by the Foundation Group 4 Media Freedom and Democracy, which was renamed as G4 Global Journalism and converted into a company in 2021.
The company has three shareholders, Dan Tapalaga and Cristian Pantazi each with 48% stakes and Cristian Drumcea, marketing manager, with a 4% stake.
G4media.ro is an independent news outlet that produces high quality, objective journalistic content with a growing audience.
