City Radio is a network of nine radio stations in the Transylvania region as following: City Radio Baia Mare, City Radio Borsec, City Radio Brasov, City Radio Carei, City Radio Covasna, City Radio Satu Mare, City Radio Sighetu Marmatiei, City Radio Zalau, City Radio Reghin. They broadcast in Hungarian. City Radio has been linked since its creation in 2005 to politicians belonging to the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) in Transilvania. It was established by two journalists of Hungarian ethnicity living in Satu Mare who later became MPs. As of 2012, the radio network has been operated by Voice Media Center that is fully owned by Istvan Balazsi.
