Litoral TV is a local TV station based in Navodari, a town on the Romanian seaside. The owner of its broadcasting license is Media Est Vision, a company co-owned by Brands Duel SRL (90%) and Ramona Mures (10%). Brands Duel SRL has a sole shareholder, United Business Solutions, a company whose core activity is in the hotel industry and whose main shareholder is Morad EP Hassan Haidar Batoul (98.5%).
Hassan Morad is one of three brothers who own businesses in the food industry, tourism and real estate in Romania, of which Phoenicia represents the largest group of hotels in Romania, according to their director, Buianu Leonard Claudiu. The Morad brothers own most accommodation facilities on the Romanian sea coast, according to reports in the business press.
The Murad brothers are still active in both the construction and hotel sectors, Mohammad Morad controlling the Triumf Construct construction company, the Phoenicia hotel chain in Bucharest and the Amfiteatru, Panoramic, Belvedere (Neptun-Olimp), Majestic (Mamaia, Olimp and Jupiter), Perla (Mamaia) and Forum (Costinesti) hotels on the Black Sea Coast. Mohammad Murad had an estimated fortune of €160-€180m in 2022. Hassan Morad took over Litoral TV, the only regional broadcaster in the region of Dobrogea at the time, in 2020, right after announcing his intention of running for mayor of Constanta (he changed his mind in the end).
