The company has had about 70 lawsuits during the last ten years, many of them from people claiming to have been defamed by Alexa who is a controversial journalist and politician. He was a candidate for the mayor position in Cluj-Napoca and also the chief of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) in Cluj. According to local media, his company was the beneficiary of party money and public contracts during the years when PSD was the governing party in Romania.
