Radio Fir is a local broadcaster based in Dej town, covering Cluj county. It broadcasts local and regional news and current affairs as well as entertainment programs. The station was granted its broadcasting licence in 1999. In 2018, Camelia Pogacean became the new owner of Radio Fir. She is also the sole owner of EBS REI, the broadcaster of the EBS Radio stations in Cluj and Dej, and owns two other companies, one active in the building development field and one having as its core activity wood sawmilling. Pogacean is also a 10% shareholder in a company active in the agricultural domain (cereals growing).
