Olt TV is a station covering Olt county. The broadcaster’s operating company, Date Advertising, is fully owned by Andra Barbulescu. She is the wife of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) MP Daniel Barbulescu. The couple was close to former Finance Minister Darius Valcov who was arrested in 2015 by the Anti-Corruption National Directorate (DNI). Due to these relations, Olt TV has reportedly received significant amounts of public money.
