Google’s main market-facing Belgian company is Google Belgium NV/SA, a Belgian public limited company registered under enterprise number BE 0878.065.378. The company is registered at Chaussée d’Etterbeek 180, 1040 Brussels, and was established in December 2005. Companyweb lists the company’s latest balance-sheet year as 2024, with the most recent annual accounts filed on 27 June 2025.

The company should be described primarily as a local Google service and support entity. Its activity classification should lead with other information-technology and computer-service activities, with advertising-agency activity also listed. Google Belgium NV/SA should not be described as the operator of Google’s Belgian data centres. The direct shareholder of Google Belgium NV/SA should not be stated as Google LLC unless confirmed through a Belgian register extract or shareholder filing.

Business leadership should be treated separately from legal company administration. In January 2024, Google announced that Tom De Block would replace Thierry Geerts as country manager for Google Belgium and Luxembourg after Geerts stepped down on 31 March 2024. Consumer, data and cloud-contracting structure

Google Belgium NV/SA should not be presented as the primary contracting entity for Belgian users of Google’s consumer services. Google’s Terms of Service state that, in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, Google services are provided by and contracted with Google Ireland Limited.

Google’s privacy policy also states that, unless a service-specific privacy notice says otherwise, Google Ireland Limited is the data controller for users of Google services based in the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
