Google Cloud in Switzerland
Switzerland hosts a dedicated Google Cloud region in Zurich. Google launched the Zurich Google Cloud region, europe-west6, in March 2019. The region was designed to support Swiss and European customers and was launched with three availability zones.
This cloud-region presence is an important part of Google’s Swiss infrastructure and enterprise-market position, but it should not be interpreted as evidence that all Swiss Google Cloud revenue is booked by Google Switzerland GmbH. Google Cloud contracting for Switzerland remains part of the Google Cloud EMEA Limited contracting framework.
