The Romania-Insider.com website was launched in 2010. It is an online news portal dedicated to Romania, published exclusively in English. Romania-Insider.com is owned by Business Insider, a Bucharest-based company. Investor and growth advisor Marius Istrate bought 27.6% shares in the company in 2021, thus Business Insider currently has four shareholders. He joined co-founders Corina Chirileasa and Volker Moser who started the project in 2010, and French entrepreneur Grégoire Vigroux, who joined the company in 2017.
