Medianet is the publisher of the newspaper Ziarul de Iasi, a local newspaper in Iasi county. The newspaper has a history going back three decades.
As of August 2023, the newspaper has a new owner, namely Dan Fiterman, a businessman with investments in healthcare companies, real estate and HoReCa. He has shares in one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Romania, Fiterman Pharma. Until August 2023, it was fully owned by journalist and entrepreneur Alexandru Lazescu.
