TV Galati-Braila is a regional generalist TV channel covering the counties of Galati and Braila. It is run by PAF Media, a company controlled by the Paslaru family (Florin Paslaru, his son Alexandru and his wife Valerica). Florin Paslaru was an MP from the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and a councillor of former prime minister Liviu Dragnea. Local media reported that the station has been serving the political interests of the PSD, and that it has received public money through contracts awarded to them by the county council.
