Paprika Radio is a local radio station based in Cluj-Napoca and exclusively broadcasting in Hungarian language. Its aim is to reach the Hungarian community of Cluj-Napoca and its surroundings (around 100,000 people). The station was founded at the initiative of an association of Hungarian entrepreneurs and started its 24-hour broadcast in 2006, on 95.1 FM. Currently, the station is owned by 19 people, almost all of them with many other companies operating in a vast range of areas including retail, real estate, construction, energy production, wholesale and manufacturing.
